Today I happened upon a quote from the late Poet, Audre Lorde by way of the From My Brown Eyed View blog. It’s a simple quote but instantly made me aware of why Audre was also called Gamba Adisa, a Warrior whose meaning is clear and why that same name — though I’ve tried to run from it — still applies to me.
