Since my emancipation on Jan 19th, in many respects, I feel the Creator giving me the opportunity for the fresh start I asked for — this week, it applies to work.

2009 was a rough, ROUGH year. I survived an unexpected layoff, an ill-suited relocation, the loss of my dream business {thank you Old Man Recession!} & the kicker — a swift decline of Mom’s health due to Alzheimer’s Disease.
Admittedly to cope, I put life on “pause” & to survive, I buried myself in what was familiar — Genealogy research.
But as with all seasons, I am living a new one & though Mom’s illness progresses, I have committed to putting life back on “play”.
I am here. Luckie becomes more than a nickname — in just 2 days, I am Dona Amechia no more. And after 18 yrs. of being a Taylor, I return to Daniels…
